It All Adds Up!
On 12th January, a group of 12 Yr10 girls went on a trip to the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford.
It All Adds Up! is for all female and non-binary students at UK schools. The day is to inspire young women to continue with Maths education.
The day involved a mix of plenaries, workshops, and hands-on problem sessions.
The girls had an opportunity to speak to Oxford students about their experiences.
It was a big success and we all learnt how to use a simple mathematical tool to forecast COVID-19 case numbers in the future.
