Today as part of our More Able programme students received a talk from Oxford University outreach programme. They looked at University life and what the processes are for getting into Russel Group Universities.

Amazing trip to today for our Yrs 7-10. Focusing on the performing arts side, we were lucky enough to have a tour of their incredible recording studios and editing suites.


Today all of Year 11 received a Revision Skills booster session from external speakers. They reflected on their recent mocks and set themselves targets for their upcoming final examinations.

Welcome to the Aureus School Exams Office page. On this page, you will find information concerning assessments run through the Exams Office, which includes public exams and internal PPEs (Pre-Public Examinations – also known as “mocks”). 

Details provided include items such as: Key Dates, Exam Boards, information documents and policies, as well as a Student Examination Guide which outlines rules and expectations for students during exams.

The Department for Education (DfE) currently intends the Summer 2023 exam series to proceed as normal without any adjustments.

The Exam Boards have published their examination timetables for Summer 2023, details of which can be found below.

Subjects with Non-Examination Assessments (NEAs) components have deadlines which are before written exams. These deadlines can range throughout the entire course, so may be during Year 10 or Year 11. Subject teachers will confirm exact deadlines dates with Year 11 students for their particular subject.

Government and Ofqual Update about Summer 2023 Final Exams

The government and Ofqual have released details of the intended return to pre-pandemic grading and confirmed that there will be no adaptations to qualifications (Examinations or Non-Examination Assessments) for the Summer 2023 exam series.
