GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Yr 10/11 Aureus Girls' Football Friendly

Aureus’ girls year 10/11 football team went away to Langtree school and played against Cranford and Langtree. 

They played against Cranford first. The score was 4-1 to Cranford. Despite Aureus having a lot of opportunities with great play, their goalkeeper was very good and made it difficult for us to score any more goals. 

Aureus’ goal was scored by Olivia and the player of the match was Zara.

Our second match was against Langtree. The final score was 5-0 to Langtree. We had fewer opportunities than the first match. Their defence was very strong and stopped our attacks easily.
