Standing Ovation Concert

Our Voices of Aureus Choir were invited to take part in the Standing Ovation Concert on Monday this week at Birmingham City University, where they were joined by five other primary schools.

They performed six songs, including our very own “We are Aureus”, “Sing” by Gary Barlow and “One Love” by Bob Marley to an audience of around 300 parents and carers.

Mrs Powell, Lead Practitioner for Music said “Voices of Aureus did the school proud by singing with confidence and flair.”

The Standing Ovation Project, founded by Anthony Daulphin in 2016, is an ever-growing creative arts organisation in the UK. Working with schools, they help to raise the self-esteem and confidence of children through the creative arts and pastoral support.
