GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Happy Birthday GLF

To celebrate GLF Schools’ 10th birthday, all schools in the Trust will be participating in activities across the same week in October. Funds raised through these activities will be split 50:50 between our school, and the GLF Schools’ Foundation which was launched earlier this year.    

The GLF Schools’ Foundation is an initiative within GLF Schools which provides opportunities for all young people within GLF schools to have exposure to additional opportunities and experiences regardless of their financial background. Funds raised will provide additional extra-curricular programmes for children. 

At our school we will be having a non-school uniform day on 6th October with a voluntary contribution. To find out more about the foundation click here.
