Welcome to Aureus School

I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher of Aureus School. I have a passion for comprehensive education and I firmly believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. My approach is driven by my belief in inclusive education and centred around high expectations of all students.

As the only co-educational comprehensive school in Didcot we have a fantastic student body whose range of attributes contribute to making Aureus School a vibrant community. I have the privilege to be working with a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic staff body who are passionate about inspiring our young people every single day, enabling them to thrive.

During period 5 today Mr Allison's GZ class watched a live interview of two members of the House of Lords as part of the Lesson with the Lord's programme. This was to celebrate Women's History Month. The class learnt more about the make-up of Parliament and the role of women in the House of Lords.

Freya participated in her Bracknell gala this weekend, at the Aldershot 50m pool. This weekend's competition was intense, with a challenging pool environment. Despite facing a neck and foot injury, she performed admirably, matching or coming close to her previous times. Additionally, her goggles filled with water during the dive for her 200m freestyle event, so Freya really did show resilience during that race! Well done, Freya.
