Welcome to Aureus School

I am immensely proud to be the Headteacher of Aureus School. I have a passion for comprehensive education and I firmly believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. My approach is driven by my belief in inclusive education and centred around high expectations of all students.

As the only co-educational comprehensive school in Didcot we have a fantastic student body whose range of attributes contribute to making Aureus School a vibrant community. I have the privilege to be working with a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic staff body who are passionate about inspiring our young people every single day, enabling them to thrive.

Lola has successfully auditioned and secured a role in this year's Christmas Pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Cornerstone. She will be part of the Children's Chorus and is set to perform in ten shows during the production. This is an incredible opportunity for her to enhance her confidence, teamwork and performance abilities.

The singing assembly consistently stands out as a highlight of the term and today was no exception! Year 8 truly gave it their all and it's unfortunate that not everyone can win the trophy, given the fantastic effort they displayed. A special congratulations to 8C for emerging victorious this time—great job, everyone!
