GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Inclusion & SEND

At Aureus School, we believe that every student has a unique set of strengths and qualities that deserve to be recognised and nurtured. We understand that each individual brings something valuable to our community, and it is our commitment to celebrate and embrace this diversity. Inclusion, for us, is not just a buzzword; it is the very essence of our educational philosophy. We create an environment where students from all walks of life feel welcomed, valued and supported.

Our dedication to inclusion extends beyond the classroom. We are deeply committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or challenges they may face, has the opportunity to succeed. We provide a range of resources and personalised support to meet the unique needs of each learner. Our teaching approach is adaptable and flexible, enabling us to cater to the diverse learning styles and preferences of our students.

At Aureus School, we set high standards for all our students. We firmly believe that every individual can achieve excellence with the right guidance and support. Our educators are committed to nurturing the potential of each student, helping them grow academically and personally. By setting these high standards, we empower our students to strive for greatness and believe in their own capabilities.

Cultivating ambition is at the heart of our educational mission. We encourage our students to dream big, aspire to greatness, and never settle for mediocrity. Our inclusive approach ensures that ambition knows no boundaries. Whether a student is navigating a specific educational need or simply reaching for the stars, our school is here to foster that ambition and provide the tools, encouragement, and support needed to turn dreams into reality.

Our inclusive school is committed to supporting all students in their journey towards success, without making distinctions based on their backgrounds or unique challenges. We strive for excellence, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Inclusion Team
The inclusion team at Aureus School is comprised of experienced and dedicated teacher and teaching assistants and is managed by the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). The role of the SENDCo is to ensure a smooth transfer of SEND students from primary school and to ensure the appropriate provision is in place once at Aureus School.
