Headteacher's Weekly Update
Dear Families,
What an incredible week we’ve had! Our Aladdin performances have truly been a highlight of the year. The students have worked tirelessly to create a spectacular show, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts. From our Hair and Beauty students, who styled every look to perfection, to our wonderful dancers, singers, musicians, and tech experts, every single person played a vital role in bringing this production to life.
A huge thank you to Miss King, Mrs Powell, Mrs Burbage, Ms Robins and Mr Wilkinson, whose dedication through countless rehearsals, weekend work, and late nights made this possible. And of course, a shout-out to all staff who supported behind the scenes, making the set, checking tickets, supervising students, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. We’ve already enjoyed three amazing performances, welcomed Didcot Primary Academy and Aureus Primary School, and I’m looking forward to tonight’s show, which is always the best one!
We also had a wonderful Year 11 Progress Evening this week. Thank you to all families who attended with their child to discuss current progress and the next steps for their final push. Our students have done incredibly well in this set of mock exams, and we are so proud of their commitment and hard work.
Finally, thank you to everyone who completed the stakeholder surveys. Your feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we will use it to shape our action plans in the new year to address any areas for improvement.
