Headteacher's Weekly Update
Dear Families,
What a wonderful week it has been!
Our Year 11 students have started to receive their mock results, and I am so pleased to see how happy they are with the progress they’ve made since their last set of mocks. Their determination to succeed is inspiring, and many are now working on their revision plans and identifying areas where they can improve further.
This week, our Year 9 Heroes spent a day with Year 7 students and some of our primary schools as part of our transition programme. They did a fantastic job preparing younger students and showing what it means to be great role models and ambassadors for our school. A huge thank you to Humanutopia for their ongoing work with our students—it is wonderful to see them grow and flourish.
We also want to extend a big thank you to the Friends of Aureus for hosting a brilliant Bingo evening. It was a fantastic way to raise funds and bring our community together. We are so grateful to everyone who supported this event.
As the festive season approaches, we are collecting toys for the Sleigh 2 Give campaign. If you are able to donate new toys, please drop them off at school reception. These will be distributed to children who need them most—thank you for helping us make a difference.
Finally, a quick update on our school production of Aladdin: Friday tickets are now sold out, and there are only a few left for Wednesday. Please purchase yours soon to avoid disappointment. We cannot wait to share the incredible work of our students with you!
