Headteacher's Weekly Update
Dear Families,
What a wonderful week it has been! As ever, our students have made us incredibly proud. During our recent open events, they have warmly welcomed prospective families and showcased the very best that our school has to offer. Their enthusiasm, confidence and pride in their school community truly shone through.
Our GCSE Dance students have also had a particularly exciting week. They’ve been working hard on their performance pieces alongside visiting professionals, gaining invaluable experience and inspiration. A huge thank you to Miss King for her exceptional support, dedication and creativity in guiding our dancers through this process.
Meanwhile, rehearsals for Aladdin are in full swing! Our students gave us a sneak preview of the show during Open Evening, and it’s safe to say we are all eagerly anticipating the final production. The energy, teamwork and commitment from everyone involved are fantastic to see.
Finally, a massive shout-out to our wonderful Friends of Aureus. Not only have they been busy planning and launching their fundraising efforts for the year ahead, but they’ve also been rolling up their sleeves to help us refresh parts of the school with a new coat of paint. Their hard work and generosity make such a difference, helping us to create a warm and welcoming environment for our students.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support. It is a privilege to lead such a vibrant, caring and ambitious school community.
Kind Regards
Kirsty Rogers
