Headteacher's Weekly Update
Dear Families,
Our Year 11 students, who have returned with real ambition and determination towards their studies, have had an incredible week. Period 6 lessons have been exceptionally well attended, with students engaging positively in valuable revision and study skills that will support them in preparation for their next set of mock examinations.
Alongside this, our new Year 11 Study Space is now fully operational. Thanks to the hard work and support of our prefect team, the space offers a range of revision resources, study desks and computers to help students make the most of their learning before school, during social times and after school. I am delighted to see this area becoming a genuine hub of learning and independent study within the school.
Thank you to all the families who attended our Year 10 Parent Information Evening this week. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers engaging with the opportunities available to students over the coming year. During the evening, we launched our new Trips Brochure, providing an overview of the exciting experiences planned for the year ahead, alongside important information regarding work experience arrangements for this academic year. We look forward to seeing the other year groups next week.
Meanwhile, rehearsals for Beauty and the Beast are in full swing. The cast and production team are working incredibly hard, and we cannot wait to share this wonderful performance with our school community. Tickets are expected to be very popular, so please ensure that you purchase yours early to avoid disappointment. Please see the below links for ticket sales.
