Head Teacher's Weekly Update

Dear Families,

We have had another wonderful week here at Aureus. As our Year 7s continue to settle in, I have been privileged to hear from so many families sharing their thanks for the dedication and care shown by our staff each day—and I couldn’t agree more. It is a joy to see our newest cohort thriving.

This week has also been particularly exciting as our brand-new Product Design room has come to life. The space looks fantastic, and I cannot wait to see the creative projects our students will produce using the state-of-the-art equipment. Mr Butler already has some brilliant upcycling projects planned, which I know the students will thoroughly enjoy.

I have also spent much of this week visiting local primary schools, meeting prospective families, and celebrating the incredible work of our partner Headteachers. Each primary I have visited is doing such inspiring work, and I feel privileged to collaborate with such a dedicated group of colleagues. My visits will continue next week, and I am very much looking forward to welcoming families to our Open Evening on Thursday 9th October, where everyone is welcome & there is no need to book. Please help us spread the word.

Finally, I would like to give a special mention to our wonderful Friends of Aureus. If you haven’t already seen it, do take a look at the upcoming Brush Party on Friday 13th October. It promises to be a fun-filled evening, and everyone is warmly invited to join.
Wishing you all a restful weekend, and thank you as always for your continued support.

Kind Regards

Kirsty Rogers
