On July 1, a total of 24 Year 7 pupils from Aureus School joined the record attempt.
The record was previously set in Poland in 2015 by the Partnership for Health, involving 6,778 participants across 89 schools.
This year, the record was smashed with 10,515 participants from more than 700 schools across 42 countries.
The pupils from Aureus School were guided by Mrs Adam and Mrs Brown, working in pairs to cook homemade pasta with tomato sauce. A spokesperson for the school said: "Our group worked in pairs, stepping out of their comfort zones with confidence.
"They showed incredible teamwork, resilience, and enthusiasm, especially as they cooked on a very hot day, all while wearing their biggest ever smiles.
"Adding to the excitement, Jamie Oliver joined the lesson live, chatting with students and sharing his passion for pasta. It was a moment our students will never forget.
"We are immensely proud of our students and grateful to Jamie Oliver and the organisers for giving us the chance to be part of such a record-breaking, unforgettable day."
Aureus School, located on the edge of Didcot, on Candytuft Way, welcomes pupils aged 11 to 16.
