Headteacher's Weekly Update

Dear Families,

As we begin the final term of this academic year, it’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown. It has been another busy and productive week, especially as our Year 11 students continue with their GCSE examinations. We are so proud of the maturity and focus they have shown—many are taking their study leave seriously and demonstrating a commendable commitment to their success. I have particularly enjoyed supporting students in their maths revision sessions this week; their determination and enthusiasm have been inspiring.

Our value of the term is resilience—a vital quality that empowers students to persevere through academic challenges, manage pressure, and stay focused on their long-term goals. Whether it’s preparing for exams, tackling difficult topics, or developing new study habits, our students are showing great strength and perseverance. Their ability to rise to these challenges with a positive mindset is something we are incredibly proud of.

We have also been incredibly proud of the students who represented our school on the BBC and ITV, sharing the benefits of being part of a smartphone free school and their pride in being part of our school community. It’s wonderful to see our students speak with such confidence and enthusiasm.

Finally, we are pleased to have launched Phase Two of our transport communication strategy. Thank you to all the parents who have already taken the time to complete the survey—your feedback is essential in helping us improve our systems and better support our families. If you have not yet completed the survey please do so here

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kind Regards
