Notes:

  • Spanish is the language in Year 7 and 8 – there will be a second language choice for Key Stage 4
  • RE will be integrated into the Humanities curriculum and will be an option for Key Stage 4
  • PSHE, SMSC & Citizenship will be integrated into the community time coaching time
  • Music peripatetic lessons and choir will be on a carousel with the drama taught in the performing arts lessons, Music will be an option for Key Stage 4
  • Dance will be integrated into the PE curriculum and enrichment time, it will also be an option at Key Stage 4
  • Food technology, graphic design and animation will form the Design Technology time in Year 7 with visiting practitioners for our Design Days, Resistant Materials will be an option at Key Stage 4

Key Stage 4: Year 9, 10 & 11

  • Options will be chosen at the end of Year 8 to commence at the start of Year 7 so that 3 years can be spent on developing the skills and deepening the knowledge for our students’ GCSEs
