The Sun and our Athletic Stars were Shining on Sports Day

Despite the record temperatures this week, students enjoyed a wide range of activities from Basketball to Rounders to Tug of War and lots more in between. They really put all they had into each event and cheered each other on throughout the day.
Praise and thanks to the PE department who ran and organised such a wonderful day full of laughter and team spirit.

One of the many highlights of the day was the final races - where each year group and house put forward their best sportspeople to compete in the 100m, 200m and the relay. Competition was fierce with Malala, Banksy and Hawking going into the deciding rounds neck and neck. Having the whole school join together, cheering and supporting one another meant that today - everyone was a winner!
