At Aureus, we have a universal offer of 4 mindfulness sessions a week for students which begin at 8:30 for 30 minutes.
Students have a mindfulness menu which includes:
- Mindful Art
- Mindfulness Strategies
- Mindful Movement
- Mindful Music
Students learn about the neuroscience behind their ever changing teenage brains and how to notice those strong adolescent emotions.
Mindfulness at Aureus is a programme to be preemptive in dealing with emotional outbursts and to be a toolkit our students can take into lessons, exams and beyond their school years.
