We made playdoh figures once to represent those more “negative” views of ourselves. Then squashed them and built ourselves looking strong/beautiful/confident. Interestingly, the “positive” people were usually taller the second time!

Diversity

Diverse Leaders 2018

This bespoke leadership development programme is into it's 2nd year and is funded through a DFE Diversity Grant. Last year we ran it as a collaboration between the GLF Schools TSA and the Harris Federation TSA from London and Surrey. This year we are running it from Oxfordshire.

"Hands down the best CPD program you will go on. I can say unequivocally without the diverse leaders program and the continued support from wonderful additions to my network I would not have achieved promotion to senior leadership.”
Pran Patel, AHT and Diverse Leaders graduate from cohort 1.

"The Diverse Leaders Programme has been pivotal in transforming my outlook, attitude and confidence as a BAME professional. In truth, at the start of the programme I was not necessarily seeking promotion yet by the end of the programme I felt empowered to seek it and take it! Internalising lessons learnt throughout the programme was the catalyst for my going on to receive two cumulative promotions in the space of two years- and I will soon be seeking my third! Diverse Leaders helped me to realise that the glass ceiling above me was largely self-imposed. The programme gave me the tools to acknowledge and address barriers that held up that glass ceiling. I would highly recommend people to attend this course- it is the best CPD I have ever experienced- one that has literally changed my life"
Sana Bokhari, SENCO and Diverse Leaders graduate from cohort 1.
